On my journey I have had people who kept me going when I wasn’t to be able to carry things on my own. My family, friends, therapists, healers, tutors. A spiritual reader told me that she saw me in the column of healing light. I used to think I had to manage everything on my own but my illness and the strenuous fertility journey taught me to accept help. I learned to ask for help, even the spiritual one, and I was met with kindness and support.
Firstly, I would like to thank Tara for allowing me to use ‘The Grieving Mother’ term as a name for my exhibition. It was something she often referred to in our sessions. I remember her saying to me ‘Honour the grieving mother within.’
